About IBMCT

BMTPC under Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs, Government of India has been frontrunner in dissemination and promotion of resource-efficient, climate-responsive, eco-friendly and energy-efficient building materials, products & construction technologies in the field including cost-effective, resilient and fast track construction. Since its inception in 1990, BMTPC has not only transferred alternate materials & technologies in the field but showcased them through demonstration construction across the country. While working as Technical Partner to Ministry in PMAY-U, BMTPC has been successful in creating an enabling environment for mainstreaming sustainable practices in the country and have been providing technical know-how to various State Governments and public & private agencies towards application of these innovative systems in PMAY-U projects and other Government and State Government's schemes. The successful execution and exhibition through the process has prompted BMTPC to share this knowledge for the benefit of construction professionals and citizens of the country through this customised portal.

In the wake of climate change, NDCs and a clarion call given by Hon'ble Prime Minister to be developed nation by 2047 and net zero by 2070, the construction industry is experiencing technological transformation like never before.
